About this event
Workday: LSHT from Trailhead #6 to Stubblefield
Meet at 8 am at Trailhead #6 30.528083, -95.629933
This volunteer service project is a SHNF National Trails Day event. National Trails Day is an annual nationwide celebration of trails held on the first Saturday in June, created by the American Hiking Society in 1993 to promote trail use, stewardship, and outdoor access.
We will clear 4 miles of LSHT from TH#6 to Stubblefield Recreation Area by removing 13 trees across the trail, mowing both sides of the trail, and lopping back encroaching yaupon and vines.
